For our Bellringer, head on over to Google Classroom. I’d like to know what you think about privacy when you’re out of doors. Does someone have the right to photograph you in a public place without your permission or knowledge?
Next, we’ll spend a few minutes reviewing our Louisiana homework from last week. I asked you to give me three sentences (or, in some cases, three paragraphs) on whether you think Louisiana should change its maps and signs to reflect the impact of rising sea levels. I can’t wait to hear what you thought.
After that, we’ll spend some time learning about privacy issues related to Google Street View. This technology makes it really easy to “go” anywhere from your computer, but it also raises serious privacy concerns. This assignment is in your textbook, on pages 34-35. If you miss class, you’ll have to wait until you get back (or come during DS) to check out a textbook.
