On Tuesday, we’re going to spend some more time with the Dreyfus Affair. On Monday, we got a good understanding of what happened and why it happened. Now, we’ll use that knowledge to closely and carefully read a 1906 newspaper article about the incident.
We’ll discuss what kinds of strategies and annotations we can use when we encounter a text that uses arcane or difficult language. Then we’ll carefully lay out a timeline of the Drefyus incident.
