March 13: Fights for Rights in the UK

On Monday, we’ll look closely at four areas where everyday people pushed for major social reforms in the United Kingdom in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Those areas are women’s rights, worker’s rights, abolition, and prison reform. We’ll divide up into groups to study the issues, and then share what we learn. In the end, we’ll quiz each other.
